The netsuke is carved of mammoth petrified tusk. The eyes are inlaid with honey horn, while the pupils are made of bekko.

The horn is inlaid with a horn of Himalaya’s musk ox. I would like to make this inlay less by decorative reasons, than by intention to add a piece of real, amazingly steadfast and strong animal living at the hard conditions of the Himalayas.
